I already warned you that there are MASSIVE spoilers for the whole TV series here, so if you haven't finished watching the series, what are you doing here? ¬¬

At the end of the CCS TV series, Shaolan had finally gathered up the courage to tell Sakura how he felt about her. However, she was confused. She had also confessed her love to Yukito, but he had told her that he was not the one for her, and she would soon find someone that was truly the most important in her heart. After all the Clow Cards were turned into Sakura Cards and Eriol went back to England, no more strange things were happening. Therefore, Shaolan was called back home to Hong Kong by his mother. But Sakura hadn't replied to his confession yet.

It was four months since Shaolan left to go to Hong Kong, and life was just about normal for Sakura. She was a 6th grader now, and was always late wherever she went. Typical for any 6th grader, right? Since no other strange things were happening with the Clow Cards, she would borrow Naoko's fantasy novels and use the monsters and ideas from inside the books to create enemies with the Create card. That way, Sakura, Yue, Kero-chan, and the Sakura Cards would battle against the creations and Tomoyo would be able to tape Sakura with more outfits. Sakura had decided in her heart that Shaolan really was her most important person, and she really did care for him the most. She wanted to confess to him directly to his face, just like he confessed to her directly, so she didn't tell him by mail or telephone.

Where Eriol's (or shall we say Clow Reed's) house used to stand, was a brand new amusement park. One day, as Sakura and Tomoyo were looking to see what the park was like, Sakura suddenly felt the aura of a Clow Card. She ran, looking for the source of the aura, but instead found another surprise: she ran into Shaolan and Meiling. It turns out that Tomoyo had e-mailed Meiling and asked her and Shaolan to come to Tokyo for a while. Sakura was performing as the princess in Tomoeda's huge festival play, and Tomoyo wanted Shaolan and Meiling to also be there. However, that wasn't the only reason. Meiling and Tomoyo had conspired together to get Sakura to confess her feelings to Shaolan, and throughout the movie they both tried to give the two some time alone, so Sakura would finally get to confess.

Meanwhile, the Sakura Cards are slowly disappearing, one by one. Some strange power is catching all of the Sakura Cards, snatching them from Sakura's pile. Each time that Sakura uses a card, the card is also taken. And each time a Card is taken, something in Tomoeda disappears. It started first with a bridge disappearing, next was a mailbox, and then people started to disappear, as well as whole buildings. If all of the Sakura Cards end up taken, then all of Tomoeda would disappear and everything would fall into Emptiness. However, the only way that Sakura can beat this power is to sacrifice her most important feeling (of love). In order to stop the person stealing all of the Sakura Cards and making everything disappear, Sakura has to give up her feeling for the person that she loves the most.

She can't do this, especially since in the Final Judgment she was shown a world where everyone's feeling of "love" was gone. She couldn't bear feeling that sad and empty again. Meanwhile, she is still trying to confess her feelings to Shaolan. The second CCS movie, The Sealed Card, is all about Sakura trying to stop the Sakura Cards from being taken and Tomoeda from disappearing, as well as trying to confess to Shaolan her true feelings. It is the finale for the Card Captor Sakura series.
